“I have had the privilege of watching Kellie’s career grow over the years. This has ranged from first meeting her as a student of Theatre Arts the Barbados Community College, to having her perform at my Cool Jazz series, both as a discovery segment Artiste and as a featured Artist.
As a musician,I have also on several occasions, had the privilege of working with her in various small jazz ensembles. As a professional, I have regularly hired her and groups she has configured to perform at a range of private functions and events in Barbados and on a few occasion in neighbouring islands.As an entrepreneur, I have seen Kellie embark on several enterprising cultural endeavours and her business acumen, innovative and creative spirit has impressed me every time.
Kellie also possesses a strong spirit of altruism and this has led her to paying forward to society through her creative talents.”
